I must first make this very clear: I do not condone illegally copying copyrighted material. I believe that artists, whether musicians, writers, actors, painters, photographers, etc. . ., should receive their just rewards for the work they do. If a consumer enjoys a work enough to use that work, then they should abide by the rules regulating the distribution of such works.

BUT I am sick and tired of the way that the record and movie industries continually treat their customers as mindless criminals who somehow owe them something for merely existing.
